FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Fayetteville police are conducting a death investigation.

Just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, a woman's body was found on Murchison Road near Brenda Drive.

Authorities are working to notify to victim's relatives.

The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death.
