Not a weekend washout, but expect to dodge a few showers and thunderstorms.

Showers and storms will start to diminish as we head into Friday night. Under a partly cloudy sky, temperatures will drop to the low to mid 70s.

Saturday morning should start off mainly sunny and dry, but expect increasing cloudiness and rain/t-storms to develop into the afternoon and evening. A few storms could be strong with gusty wind, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.

Some storms may linger through the overnight hours on Saturday.

A mix of sunshine and clouds Sunday morning, with scattered showers and t-storms Sunday afternoon/evening. Highs temperatures on Saturday will be near normal for this time of year, in the upper 80s. Not as hot on Sunday, with highs only in the mid 80s.

Rain chances go down a bit through the week, meaning temperatures climb back up to near 90. Keep shining and have a wonderful weekend!
