MOORE COUNTY, N.C. -- A person was killed in a wreck on U.S. Highway 1 in Moore County.

Authorities say it happened Monday around 6:30 p.m. near Cameron.           

A van ran off the road and overturned according to Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue.

A second person suffered a serious injury.

The State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
