CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- 150 kids have been spending with weekend with a former basketball pro to learn skills both on and off the court.
- The basketball camp is hosted by Antawn Jamison
- Jamison comes back to Chapel Hill each year to teach eager youngsters
- This is the third year Jamison teamed up with Camp Corral
The basketball camp is hosted by Antawn Jamison, a retired NBA player who also played for UNC Chapel Hill.
Jamison comes back to Chapel Hill each year to teach eager youngsters, ages eight to 15.
Thirty of those kids in this year's camp are also in the Camp Corral program.
"We're a national non-profit, based out of Raleigh," says camp CEO, Leigh Longino. "We send children of service members, wounded, injured and fallen to summer camp for free."
This is the third year Jamison teamed up with Camp Corral in Chapel Hill.
