SANFORD, N.C. -- Police located several victims with gunshot wounds after a fight at a birthday party.

  • Seven victims were were transported to Central Carolina Hospital.
  • The incident took place at the Sanford Latin Dance Studio.
  • The case is currently under investigation.

Seven victims were were transported to Central Carolina Hospital. One of victims was pronounced deceased.

The incident took place at the Sanford Latin Dance Studio, located at 109 S. Steele St.

The studio was rented to Aaron Cotten for the party. At 2:15 a.m., the party goers made their way outside, where a fight broke out.

At that moment, someone opened fire striking Travis Jamarian Mclean, Malika Tyshae Harris, Savon Khalili Rollins, Joseph James Roscoe, Travis Maurice Mclaughlin, Tasha Tejuana McDonald and Dominique Devonn Williams.

Mclean was pronounced deceased due to a gunshot wound to the chest.

The case is currently under investigation by the Sanford Police Department Investigative Division. No suspect information is available at this time.
