Warmer weather made a comeback for Wednesday and it looks like it will be here for a while.
Temperatures will be on the rise for Thursday with highs in the low 90s. Scattered storms are expected during the heat of the afternoon with best chance across the Sandhills and east of I-95.
Highs will back down just a little for Friday as we get a break from the chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Quiet for Saturday then the late day storm threat returns for Sunday.
As of now low and mid 90s are in the forecast for much of the upcoming week.
