GARNER, N.C. – A surveillance photo of a vehicle police believe left the scene of a deadly hit-and-run accident has been released.

• Hit-and-run happened early Monday in Garner.
• Victim identified as David Abowd.
• Car in surveillance photo could be Chrysler 300.

So far, no arrests have been made and the family of 62-year-old David Abowd is still searching for answers.         

The crash happened early Monday morning just after 12:30 a.m. on U.S Highway 70 westbound near Vandora Springs Road.

Police believe the car involved is a light colored 2005 or 2011 Chrysler 300.
