After a stormy end to our weekend, we started the new week with quieter weather.  This tranquil weather pattern will continue through the rest of this week...

An upper level system will swing across North Carolina during the night, producing some clouds and a few sprinkles.  As this system moves off the coast, it will take the clouds with it.  Skies will become mostly clear overnight.

With mostly clear conditions, we will see chilly temperatures into Tuesday morning.  Some areas might see some scattered frost.  The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for parts of central North Carolina.

Lots of sunshine is in the forecast for Tuesday with below average daytime highs.

By Wednesday, a warming trend will begin as we should see highs back to seasonal averages with mostly sunny skies.
