KNIGHTDALE, N.C. -- A Knightdale father and daughter, who were charged with incest earlier this year, along with their 7-month-old baby, are dead.
What we know:
- 7-month-old Bennett Pladl was found dead in a home in Knightdale Thursday morning.
- Katie Pladl, the baby's mother, was found dead inside of a pick-up truck in New Milford, Connecticut, along with her adoptive father.
- Stephen Pladl, Katie's biological father and Bennett Pladl's biological father, was found dead in Dover, New York by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities found 7-month-old Bennett Pladl dead in a home in Wake County Thursday morning while conducting a welfare check on Earlston Court. His parents, Katie and Steven Pladl, are also dead.
Mother, Katie Pladl, 20, was found dead inside of a pick-up truck in New Milford, Connecticut, along with her adoptive father, Anthony Buscoe. Katie had lived with Buscoe until she was 18 and then decided to reconnect with her biological parents.
Stephen Pladl, 43, Katie's biological father and Bennett Pladl's biological father, was found dead in Dover, New York by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Katie and Steven Pladl were previously arrested and charged with incest in January.
It is unclear how the baby died at this time, but it is believed that Stephen killed him.
Specific details surrounding the deaths are still developing.
