NORRISTOWN, Pa. – A Campbell University student is accused of having sexually explicit social media conversations with a minor.
Prosecutors in Pennsylvania say 21-year-old Kevin Barron contacted a 12-year-old boy after he refereed a basketball game in December and their conversations eventually became sexual in nature.
They say Barron also requested and received a sexually explicit photo from the boy.
Authorities said Barron is majoring in elementary education and is an elementary school student teacher.
He had also been a youth sports volunteer in Pennsylvania.
