WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Brine work in the Triad is postponed thanks to an upcoming change in the forecast.

NCDOT officials say precipitation isn't expected until 1 p.m. Monday when temperatures are expected to be above freezing, so there's no need to pretreat the roads this weekend.

They say they'll continue to check the forecast for changes, and make a decision on whether the pretreat roads Sunday.
