MORRISVILLE, N.C. – It was probably a restless night for most people staying at a Morrisville hotel.

Those inside the Four Points by Sheraton near the Raleigh-Durham Airport were told to stay in their rooms just before 2 a.m. Friday as crews on the scene investigated a strong odor.

They could not determine if it was pepper spray or another chemical.           

Crews did not find anything threatening and ventilated the area near the lobby to clear the air.           

No one was injured.
