JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – UPDATE: The Onslow County Sheriff's Office and the FBI are continuing the search for missing 3-year-old, Mariah Jay Woods.
At a news conference on Tuesday afternoon, the two agencies pleaded with the community to come forward with any information that may assist in finding Mariah, saying no piece of information is too small to be helpful.
Specifically, the FBI is interested in speaking with anyone who was in contact with the family of Mariah Woods in the days leading up to the report of her disappearance.

The FBI has joined the investigation and search for a missing girl in Onslow County.
The AMBER Alert for 3-year-old Mariah Jay Woods remains in effect 24 hours after it was issued.
In a news conference Tuesday afternoon, deputies and the FBI say they have boots on the ground and eyes in the sky as they continue to look for the child.
"Our intention is to search everything that we can search," Onslow County Sheriff Hans Miller says.
He says if anyone in the area sees something, like children's cloting, to let their department know so they can investigatie it.
"Priortiy number one is to find Mariah and we are asking for the public's help," FBI agent Stanley Meador says.
They say any citizeb that would want to be helpful should check their area and notifiy police so they can follow up
Woods is described as a 3-year-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes. She is 2 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 30 pounds.
She was last seen Sunday night. Her mother reported her missing from her Dawson Cabin Road home around 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Tuesday, a helicopter could be seen searching the area. Authorities also expanded the crime scene around the home and removed a garbage can from the scene.
There's been no update on any possible suspects.
Multiple agencies are searching a wooded area near the family's home and part of that search area includes Camp Lejeune property.
Family members say the child usually wears orthopedic braces on both feet. Without them, she would most likely be walking with a limp.
Sheriff Miller says they will not rule out any possible situation that could have occured.
