Clouds moved in for Thanksgiving Day and they helped to keep temperatures cool into Thursday afternoon.  Clouds will decrease through the night as high pressure builds back into the region.

Low pressure to our south pushed clouds across central and eastern North Carolina on Thursday.  This low will stay far enough off the coast to give us clouds with a small chance for a few showers.  Those clouds will decrease into early Friday morning.

On Friday, we'll see more sunshine.  With that sunshine, daytime highs will be milder.

A cold front will cross the state on Saturday.  Ahead of the front, temperatures will be warmer on Saturday.  The front will move through dry, with no precipitation expected.  Behind the front, cooler temperatures are in the forecast for Sunday.
