Showers moved out of the area early Wednesday morning and now high pressure is in control of our weather and it will remain in control of our weather through Thanksgiving Day.

Cooler air is building into North Carolina, and with mostly clear skies, we'll have colder overnight lows.  More sun is in the forecast for Thursday but with the cooler air over the region, daytime highs will be below average for our Thanksgiving.

A coastal low may bring a few clouds to the area on Friday but our forecast will remain dry.  We will see a one warm-up for the start of the weekend.  A cold front will move through on Saturday.  Behind this front, you can expect cooler temperatures on Sunday.
