KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – It was a frightening morning aboard a daycare bus Friday morning.

A bus from La Petite Academy crashed through a building on West Mountain Street. The academy says it happened when the driver swerved to avoid another car that pulled out in front of it.

Two children on board and the driver are all OK. The building is owned by the Outdoorsman Company, a demolition and excavation service.

Highway patrol ticketed the driver of the other car for failure to yield.
