We’re experiencing afternoon highs more typical of mid-July rather than early October as we head into the latter half of the workweek.

Thursday will be a hot one with highs climbing to the mid to upper 80s. This time of the year the normal high is 74.

Friday will be a little bit cooler, but not by much thanks to more clouds and the chance of a late day shower or thunderstorm. By Saturday look for temperatures that will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, with the chance for a few showers.

Sunday will still be unseasonably warm but mainly dry with highs in the low 80s. Unfortunately, no sight of autumn as we head into early next week, temperatures hold on strong into the low 80s.
