GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The FedEx Express Mid-Atlantic Hub at the Piedmont Triad International Airport is adding 400 new employees to their ranks over the next several months, according to company officials. 

  • 400 new jobs are coming to Greensboro.
  • FedEx Express is doubling their employee presence at PTI.
  • Applications are already being accepted

The new employees will nearly double the number of workers FedEx currently employs at the airport. 

 

 

 The expansion will include part-time, full-time and management positions.

“We are pleased to see FedEx growing at our airport,” said Kevin Baker, Executive Director at PTI.  “FedEx Express has been an important employer in the Triad for nearly a decade, but we believe today’sannouncement shows the real potential of the FedEx hub."

FedEx has shown a growing interest in the Piedmont-Triad area in recent years, having added a 400,000 square-foot, $110 million facility in Kernersville that employs about 750 workers.
