Our stretch of warm and dry days is about to come to a crashing halt. Low pressure will get closer then meander to our west for several days. Ahead of that low, tropical moisture will feed in across the Carolina's. Showers and storms will beging by later Saturday. Some of the storms could be severe through the evening. Showers and storms remain likely on Sunday. This unsettled pattern looks to continue through the middle of next week. Above, the GFS computer model is estimating 2 to 3 inches of rain through just Tuesday. Many other models are similar. If this verifies, flooding will be a real possibility. Be safe out there!
