A cold front will approach from the northwest on Friday. That willl lead to a much better chance for showers and storms by late in the afternoon. Storm chances will continue through the evening and overnight then come to an end by Saturday morning. We temporarily cool off too with highs Saturday struggling to make it to 80. We dry out and warm up after that with highs back in the 90s by Tuesday.

The Tropics

Tropical Storm Beryl has developed in the central Atlantic. It is a minimal tropical storm and is expected to remain that way as it moves west. In fact, the forecast is for Beryl to weaken to below tropical storm strength as it crosses the Leeward Islands this weekend. No impacts are expected in the U.S. but stay tuned!
