GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police officers are going door to door Monday, one week after three deadly shootings in a single day.
- Police will be in four areas gathiering details about homicides that happened hours apart
- Officer say they are also trying to reassure the communities
- They will start knocking on doors on Monday
They'll be canvassing four locations to gather information about this week's homicides, but also to reassure the community.
They'll start at 1 p.m. Monday at Freeman Mill Square on Florida Street near the shooting that killed 36-year-old Darren Herbin. They think that incident started behind a barber shop and ended in front of the shopping center. Officers will go door-to-door at the neighboring Smith Homes development.
Another shooting incident happened at an apartment complex on Cone Boulevard where killed 24-year-old vincent roland was killed. Police will knock on doors at Margate on Cone Apartments.
Just hours later, 28-year-old Michael Ingram died in a shooting on Sumner Ridge Lane. Officers will be talking to residents at Sumner Ridge Apartments about that incident.
Police will also be going door-to-door at Stonesthrow Apartments on Farmington Drive where they found two people shot in a car last weekend.
