CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The parents of Sateria “Zoe” Fleming, the 16-year-old who was killed in Greensboro last month, are getting ready to lay their daughter to rest.

Police say she was shot while walking on Baker Avenue.

Friends of the family are raising funds through a GoFundMe page to help support Fleming's funeral cost.

"Everybody is calling and whatever they can do they want to help. So it's been a lot of support. We have a lot of people behind us and pushing for us to get through this,” said Derrick Workman, Fleming’s stepfather.

Since Fleming's homicide in March, police have made 2 arrests.
