Our much-anticipated warmer weather pattern arrived on schedule yesterday with afternoon highs in the 70s across the viewing area.

After a relatively mild night last night, we will have an even warmer afternoon today with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Winds will be a bit gusty out of the south and southwest... potentially gusting over 25 or 30mph at times.

A cold front will approach the region tonight, and after midnight, some showers will roll through the region. A few rumbles of thunder are also possible, but the severe weather threat is very low.

Showers could linger into Friday morning, but it will remain a mild weather setup with highs in the 70s.

Easter weekend looks fantastic. Look for lots of Saturday sun with highs in the 60s and Easter Sunday highs around 70.

Be sure and check out today's video for much more.
