HIGH POINT -- Just two days after a shooting at High Point Central High School, parents and former students held a Stop The Violence rally.

They held signs saying “School is a safe place” and “Stop the Violence.”

We talked to some people who say this is a community wide issue.

A former student who graduated in 2013 says it wasn't this bad when she was here, but it's getting worse.

She has two brothers who attend school and she was panicked Monday when she heard what happened.

Her mother who was sitting on the porch heard the shot and screams from people.

Two suspects have been arrested but the mother doesn't think that's enough.

The rally wrapped up just before school started because the principal didn't want students to be distracted by seeing a large group of people out here.
