RALEIGH, N.C. -- If you live in Raleigh, you may have paid a visit to the ever-growing Centennial Campus at NC State. But, did you know there is a beautiful lake on the site that’s crying for concerts on its shore?

NC State LIVE and the Visit Centennial team are joining forces to host the new LIVE @ Lake Raleigh series of sunset concerts by the water. The free outdoor, family-friendly event will feature an impressive lineup of musicians and food trucks, all free of charge.

On April 12, Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba are taking the stage, while Holy Ghost Tent Revival will entertain the crowd on May 10. NC State LIVE director Sharon Moore and Activation Program manager Jude Desnoyer sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair for an inside look at the event.

They say to bring your picnic blankets or lawn chairs and be ready for tasty treats from Chirba Chirba Dumpling, The Cow & The Oak and Flattz. Event entrance and even parking are free. The fun starts at 6 p.m. both evenings.  For more information, visit their website.
