WILMINGTON, N.C. – Wilmington Police are working to figure out if two shootings Friday are related.

  • Two shootings happened 6 hours apart from from one another Friday.
  • The crime scenes are only 7 minutes away from one another by car.
  • WPD is working to figure out if they're related.

The first shooting happened close to Josephine Watson Lane around 5 p.m.

 A 23-year-old man was injured but is expected to be okay.

Another shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Campbell Street.

 A 25-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The streets are about 7 minutes away from one another by car.
