GREENVILLE, N.C. -- A pit bull puppy proved that heroes come in all shapes and sizes Tuesday.
Ryder sniffed out a loaded 38 special revolver wrapped in a T-shirt at Rosemont Apartments.
Officers unloaded the gun when they arrived to the location and stored it.
Officers say there may be some freelance work in the near future for Ryder.
