A significant rain chance is coming soon and it's all thanks to new action in the tropics. Tropical Storm Michael has formed in the western Caribbean near the Yucatan. It is forecast to move north into the Gulf and strengthen over the next couple days. It looks like it may be a Cat. 2 with winds around 100 mph at landfall later on Wednesday along the Florida panhandle. From there it moves northeast, across the Carolina's Wednesday night through Thursday. We will see some heavy rain and very gusty winds so flooding and additional tree damage are our main concerns. Things turn much quieter by the weekend when it will start feeling like Fall.
