JONES COUNTY, N.C. -- The Jones County Sheriff's Office confirms the body of 44-year-old Neil Simmons has been found.

Simmons was last seen Saturday when he went fishing on the Trent River along Oak Grove Road. 

His boat was found partially submerged.

Multiple agencies including Wilmington Search and Rescue, Onslow County Dive Team, Cherry Point Fire and Rescue along with NC Wildlife and other local volunteer fire departments assisted in the search efforts.

No other details have been released.
