WILMINGTON-- Whether you like light, dark, sour or sweet, Wilmington Beer Week has something for everyone.
The eight day craft beer celebration kicks off Saturday and includes events in breweries and bottle shops across the Port City. Beer lovers can enjoy a bike ride around downtown Wilmington, live music and plenty of beer.
It's also an opportunity for people to learn more about Wilmington's growing craft beer scene.
"It's been unbelievable. It's really cool to be part of such a emerging scene in the baby infancy stages of it. In the last two years, nine, 10 breweries have opened. Again New Anthem just opened up," said Mark Anthony Mueller, partner and brand manager for Waterline Brewing Company.
