More people are coming forward to accuse a 90-year-old acupuncturist of sexual assault, according to police.

Police first arrested Shi Ying Kuai on Sept. 26 in Asheville, North Carolina, when a patient accused him of sexual assault. Since then, seven more victims have come forward, according to the Asheville Police Department.

Four of the accusers are from outside of Asheville, according to police. But officials did not specify where.

Kuai has been charged with four counts of sexual battery, all misdemeanors, and one county of felony second-degree force sex offense

Police said the most recent charge was taken out on Oct. 13 and Kuai turned himself in on Oct. 20.

Detectives with the Asheville Police Department are continuing to investigate the acupuncturist and say more charges could be coming.

"We encourage anyone who may have been a victim or has information related to a similar incident to contact the APD at (828) 252-1110," police said.
