RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Fatherhood Conference kicks off in Raleigh on Saturday, June 17.
Demarcus Fair is a first time father.
He attended the conference last year, and says it is can sometimes be hard to find resources specifically for dads.
"There were a lot of resources that I didn't even know were available for fathers, a lot of support resources that are local in the community dedicated to helping fathers and changing the narrative that fathers are not present," Fair said.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. — 3 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center in Raleigh.
It is free to attend.
