CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The second of three public meetings regarding proposed changes to the light rail project coming to Durham and Orange Counties is set to take place Monday.

  • The meeting is to discuss proposed changes.
  • It will be held in Chapel Hill.
  • The rail could open as early as 2028.

Some of the changes would include modifying station platform lengths from three to two cars and adding a nineteenth station and Blackwell and Mangum Streets in Durham.

The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill.
