WAKE COUNTY, N.C. – A Wake County mother and father are facing child abuse charges after police say they were abusing their infant son.

  • Two Wake County parents have been arrested and charged with abuse.
  • Their two-year-old son had 15 fractured bones when he was taken to the hospital in April.
  • The pair have $500,000 bonds.

Sandra Blevins, 30, and Dustin Mullinax, 26, faced a judge Wednesday.

 

 

 Prosecutors say their two-month-old son had 15 bone fractures when he was taken to the hospital in April. The infant also had damage to his tongue.

Both Blevins and Mullinax are being held on $500,000 bonds.
