NORTH CAROLINA -- The Tar Heel State is among the five worst in the country for health care, according to a news WalletHub study.
The study compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across three key dimensions: cost, access and outcomes.
Vermont came out on top as the "Best State for Healthcare," while the bottom spot belonged Louisiana.
Specifically, North Carolina ranks No. 50 in cost, No. 46 in access and No. 30 in terms of outcomes
