SHELBY, N.C. -- Shelby police are investigating a deadly shooting.
- Seventeen-year-old Delvain Card has been identified the victim.
- A neighbor found his body this morning.
- No arrests have been made.
A resident of Stonehenge Apartments found the body of a teenage boy early Thursday morning near 846 West Warren Street, about a mile away from the Shelby Police Department.
Police have identified him as 17-year-old Delvain Card.
One neighbor said when she woke up this morning her car had been broken into but nothing was stolen. She also didn't hear any gunshots last night.
Officials are actively investigating the homicide. Police don't know what led to the teenager's death. No arrests have been made at this time.
