MYRTLE BEACH, N.C. -- A man was horrifically injured by a boat propeller while parasailing in Myrtle Beach Tuesday.

• Both of the man's legs had to be amputated.
• He fell on a propeller.
• Was parasailing at the time. 

Officials say the man was attempting to get on a boat when he was injured by the propeller. 

As a result, both of his legs had to be amputated.
