CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One Charlotte neighborhood is growing with a new grocery store and more jobs.

• New store will employ more than 100 workers
• Store features indoor seating and Wi-Fi  
• Residents say they are happy to have more grocery store options        

The Publix in Cotswold opened Wednesday and it will employ more than 100 people. Neighbors said they like being able to walk to reach fresh produce and that it gives them more options.

"I think having the Publix here is probably going to raise the bar for all of the grocery stores in the area. We've had great grocery options here in the Cotswold area for years. So, I think we're a big, booming area so there's probably room for everyone here," one resident said.

The store also features indoor seating and Wi-Fi.
