WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. -- Deputies are investigating a stabbing that happened Saturday evening.

It happened near US 421 and Holly Hills Road.

Investigators say the victim ran to a relative's home for help then used a four-wheeler to drive to the highway and flag someone down.

Two girls who were in the house where the stabbing happened are okay.

Authorities are looking for a silver Nissan Xterra.
