From table games to virtual reality, a new exhibit in Queens is showing people how these games developed through the years.

The Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria exhibit, "A Decade of Game Design," features eight influential game developers from the past decade.

Organizers said the goal of the exhibit is to help redefine how people view playing games. They said the games have evolved into a form of artistic expression.

"Our mission is really about highlighting innovation and artistry in the form; and innovations and artistry that is making experiences that are for other people," said Sam Roberts, the festival director of IndieCade.

The exhibit runs through June 17.
