CHARLOTTE -- US Secretary of Transportation and former Charlotte Mayor, Anthony Foxx, spent the day touring the city's transportation system.
He got a first hand look at some of the latest projects including the lynx blue line extension.
Some of these projects got their start while Secretary Foxx was mayor and he says it's nice to get to see them in action.
