Sometimes you just want a hot slice of pizza and sometimes you want more. If you're in Beacon you can head to one restaurant that's a little bit of both -- Brother's Trattoria.
"We've been here for about 18 years going for 19. We opened in 1998. I did have a business in Beacon with a small pizzeria back in 1990 to 1996, so altogether serving Beacon and Duchess County for about 24 years," said Ken Berisha, the owner and head chef.
The name of the restaurant reflects what it offers and what you can expect
"We are four brothers. We are all four in the business. Trattoria means we are not just pizzeria; we are upscale which you see yourself. When you walk in first, we have a casual room. Then you come here in the back, in our back room we have fine dining and a lounge bar with a fireplace," said Berisha.
The menu is a reflection of the experiences the head chef had abroad.
"Back in 1985, back in Italy I was a chef for about four years," said Berisha.
Whether enjoying a specialty pie or a specialty entree, the staff hopes you experience more than just a good meal.
"To remember our service, our atmosphere and of course, our food. In here you get the best service. We treat our customers as a king and queen. We are very, very friendly. We treat guests like they are family, not just guests. This is a place where family and friends can meet," said Berisha.
