WORCESTER, Mass. - The Abraham family is one of the great baseball families of Central Mass, Mikey Abraham is the Head Coach of the Worcester Academy baseball team, and his older brother Brian is the Senior Director, Player Development for the Boston Red Sox, so during the winter and in the Spring when  we have had bad weather, like snow or rain the Worcester Academy baseball team has been able to go to Polar Park the home of the Worcester Red Sox, Boston's AAA affiliate and hit in their cages indoors it's been great for the Hilltoppers.  "When the weather gets tough like recently it's been raining a lot, we're just so blessed Coach Abe's brother he works in the Red Sox organization and so we're able to go over to Polar Park."  said Worcester Academy Captain, Cole Hambly, "We had our Winter practices over at Polar Park, they have batting cages on both the opposing and home side, so we're able to go into the cages and hit on the inclimate weather days so it's such a blessing."

"Yeah it's been tough with the weather we're lucky enough Abe's brother (Brian) works with the Red Sox,"  said Captain, James Anastasopoulos, "so we've been able to get down to Polar Park a bunch and go hit."

We've been blessed to go down there (Polar Park) and use the cages and hit multiple itmes at their facility,"  said Captain, Liam Daly, "and it's been awesome, because I don't think a lot of facilities have that so we're super grateful."
