WooSox manager Chad Tracy knows his top priority in Worcester is developing talent for the major league club in Boston. In this week's Inside The Clubhouse, Tracy said it's a team effort and a large part of that effort is his relationship with Worcester native and Red Sox Senior Director of Player Development Brian Abraham. "Abes and I, daily, every single day. Even if it's not on a phone call, it's through text message, and we're going back and forth on what could be coming up, and, you know, what are we going to do to cover it, and how do we get the players, you know? So we're in constant communication on a daily basis. He and I have a great relationship, so, and we're on the same page. It's not just about what's happening here. There's five other teams in the minor leagues that are all going through injuries and bumps and bruises, so, you work together to try to make it work, and it's been a great fourth year with him, and our relationship is wonderful."

One of the top prospects on Tracy's team is pitcher Hunter Dobbins. Dobbins got his to make his major league debut in April. Tracy gets the opportunity to deliver the news of a call up often but the Worcester skipper says it's special every time. "Yeah, it's cool. That was a, in Jacksonville, it was a really quick one because he had to catch a flight in like two and a half hours, but got to make his debut, did a good job. Proud of him. He's put himself in position. It's probably, you know, up and down, but he's going to get opportunities to pitch at the big league level, and so far he's capitalizing on it, so we're proud of him."
