AUSTIN, Texas -- The past year has been peppered with notable deaths - musicians, astronauts, actors and more.

As is tradition with all their locations, Voodoo Doughnut pays tribute to each passing in their own unique way.

Voodoo's Austin location makes at least one tribute pastry to the deceased and posts the photo to their Facebook page.

The memorials pay respects to actors among the likes of Gene Wilder and Florence Henderson...

Singers such as Leonard Cohen, Pete Burns, and David Bowie, who had new fewer than seven honorary doughnuts made in his visage...

And even fringe personalities - you may not have known the names of the voice actors who portrayed "Rugrats'" Stu Pickles or Judy Jetson, but Voodoo knew, and they made sure their fans knew it too:

Other tributes included sports entertainment personalities like WWE's Chyna, and legendary players and coaches like Pat Summitt and Gordie Howe:

Voodoo even marked the closure of controversial news blog Gawker in their own inimitable way.
