9-Year-Old Michigan Boy Says Clown Attacked Him with a Knife

MICHIGAN -- Clown sightings have returned. This time a 9-year-old Michigander says he was attacked.

Justin Buechler says he was climbing a tree outside of his home just north of Detroit and when he got down, a clown was standing there.

Justin says the clown had a knife and cut him before running away.

Police are investigating, and Justin's mother is standing by her son.

"What if he would have had a knife to his throat or something. He would have actually done more damage. He could have killed my kid, you know. Apparently this wasn't the only clown that was in the park today. There was another that the officer said that was on that block, offered a kid a bottle of water. The kid ran away though," said Melinda Buechler, Justin's mom.

Police did say there was a second report involving a clown.

According to officers two women were walking in the area when they were approached by three people in "scary clown masks and carrying a baseball bat."

Officers say the clowns yelled at the woman and then hit a fence with the bat before running away.
