AUSTIN, Texas -- Want luscious lips? Let Mother Nature do the work! That's the word from a Texas comedian whose close-encounter with a few angry yellow jackets led to some amazingly swollen lips, and a selfie video that's going viral.
In the video, José Rivas is seen reacting to his misfortune with humor as he explains that the incident occurred when he was reaching for his car keys and ended up disrupting the wasp nest.
"Two yellow jacket stings to the lip later and boom," Rivas is heard saying.
The Houston-area man said everyone spending money on collagen lip injections should follow his free makeover routine.
"Kim Kardashian and them will be lookin' at your lips for days!" said Rivas. "Can't handle all this."
In the comments of the video, Rivas explained to fans that, "It hurt for a second, but beer and Benadryl, plus the Marine Corps, helped me tuff it out."
