McDonalds Debuts New Chicken McGriddle

NATIONAL- McDonald's is testing out its own version of the southern classic of chicken and waffles.

The Chicken McGriddle is a fried chicken patty surrounded by a pair of maple syrupy-sweet buns.

Currently the sandwich is only available in Ohio, where 11 McDonald's restaurants are testing the new McGriddle until the end of March.

Depending on customer feedback, the sandwich could go National.

McDonald's recent decision to serve breakfast all day has been wildly popular and an economic win for the chain.
