LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The breeze continues tonight at 10-15 mph with lows dipping into the low to mid 40s.

  • Lots of sun to begin our workweek
  • Halloween will be soggy in the evening
  • Rain, possible thunderstorms Thursday

Expect plenty of sun Monday with highs in the mid to upper 50s for the north and eastern half of the state.

Meanwhile, south and west, temperatures will top off in the low 60s. There will be some clouds across northeastern Kentucky, but those will erode away during the afternoon.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, warm and dry with highs around 70.

Halloween looks to be very soggy, especially in the afternoon and evening just in time for trick-or-treaters. Unfortunately, those costumes will likely need to be covered up with heavy rain likely. Highs will reach the low 60s on Wednesday.

Rain will continue overnight into Thursday. A wave of low pressure will bring heavy rain Thursday with even a few thunderstorms possible. Flooding is a concern as well with 2 to 4 inches of rain expected, with locally higher amounts.

Some clouds will remain Friday with an upper-level low overhead. That will spark off a few scattered showers with highs in the upper 50s.

There's also a chance for showers on Saturday with a chilly high only near 50.
