For your Wednesday surface winds are picking up from the south and continuing to draw low level moisture across the state. Expect breezy conditions from 15 to 25 mph.

Status clouds will surge into the morning, and throughout the day clouds will mix through limiting sunshine and capping our rising high temperatures a bit to the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Cloudy skies will prevail region-wide, keeping overnight temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

There is a slight chance of a pop up thunderstorm or two Thursday as instability builds in along an already established moist environment.

Storm chances enhance on Friday as upper level support aligns with an active dry line and front, potentially leading to severe weather in the form of large hail and strong straight-line winds.

We’ll see a similar set up Saturday, then as this trough eventually moves through next Sunday, rain chances should diminish by early next work week.
